Detection
I flashed the Haipad M701-R firmware to my Scroll Tablet (a.k.a Cherrypad) and now can do nothing with it at all except enter download mode, in which FWDN v7 can communicate with the tablet though, and flash other ROMs. I get no display on the tablet at all, and can not communicate with the tablet with ADB or any other way Recovery mode is gone, The only communication I have with the tablet is via FWDN where I can load other "wrong" Roms and Images, and flash them though, but obviously being the wrong boot images it will not boot. If I could just get a partially working tablet, where ADB can communicate with it again, I can recover it with my backups - Please could someone link me to the correct files I need to flash to the tablet in order to bring it back from the dead - I have only had this for around 2 months so really would like to get it working again. update.zip from the site below will not work, as I have no way of flashing it from recovery. I need the correct "lk.rom" for boot image, at the very least for the PC to see it in any other mode than FWDN Link to my tablet http://www.storageoptions.com/products/scroll/scroll Massive thanks to anyone who can help me - I have been on with this since 4am yesterday and am exhausted and completely out of ideas - I have about 200 tabs open in the browser and endless ROMs and zips and rar files all over my desktop, and none of them work. Singh400
If the screen is blank, then you must have installed the wrong driver when flashing a ROM (. Get over to XDA and read up on your tablet.
