Looks pretty cool, just starting to watch the original series again in preparation :)

impossible, only 1 avatar can be alive at one time. aang is dead
Yeah I remember them saying this, but I could have sworn Roku was alive when Aang was tapped. It's been awhile so maybe I'm just forgetting something.

No, it's clearly shown later in the series when they explain what exactly happened between Roku and Sozin (Roku's death on the island), that Aang was born afterwards. I think the scene of Aang as a baby crying directly follows Roku's death.

can't say I'm excited... I saw this forum on the front page and was like HELL YEAH.. a sequal to the movie!!! To leave the damn movie hanging is stupid, but I agree the only thing that failed it was a few bad actors the overall graphics and such were great and I enjoyed it.

To those who said it, they're right, there can only be ONE Avatar alive at any given time. Remember that the avatar is the reincarnation of the same person over and over (though ofc they're different bodies/personalities etc). I think it's a given that we'll see Aang in one of those special spiritual quests/moments like we got in the original with him and Roku many times.

Also if they're still calling it the last airbender then i'm thinking the last one is Aangs son? But really there should be more by now.

It's kinda a shame that they've decided to just jump right into a new avatar already, Aang was pretty young so why not have a new series with an older one? Maybe in his 30's or 40's etc? That would've been something I'd like to have seen.

Actually, I have completely different opinion. Aang's Avatar was a rounded and pretty much perfect story which went full circle from first episode to the last one and finished magnificently. Had they decided to milk that, I'd probably be upset. This way we get a completely new story, but we'll obviously learn a lot about what happened after the original series was done, without it forcing new conflicts in that world. And there couldn't be a new story with Aang without a new conflict. I'd hate it if that happened.

Sure, if you look at it as a "milking" angle but when you like a character, and get attached to them for 3 seasons it's not that much of a problem, and welcome for many, to see more of them. Besides, I doubt everything was rosy while Aang was around as Avatar.

Think Starwars, episodes 4,5 and 6 are perfect, 1, 2 and 3 are an abomination. Im glad they rounded off the story and im excited to see the next generation of Avatar.

I am very happy to see a new Avatar show happening, and I can't wait to see it. Though I think I would still rather have the original characters, because I got so attached to them.

Looking forward to this as well. The first one was a great story. I hope they continue with it and don't ruin anything due to this.

Thanks for info CheeseBender.
-City is now called "United Republic", founded by Aang and Zuko
-Korra's Krew is the new Aang gaang
-Brothers in her Krew, One is a firebender, one is an earthbender
-Fire is Mako, Earth is Bolin
-Mako is the brooding...not as amuch as Zuko, Bolin is the younger, goofier brother. Kind of naive.
-Bolin is a way of incorp the original type of character they wanted for Toph
-Bear is titled Naga...and is female
-Paboo, the red panda black footed ferret.
-Paboo will be Bolins buddy, and is known as a fire ferret in the series
-Aang finds a heard of sky bison after the war
-new species of flying lemur
-Kataang has 3 Kids, youngest is an airbender named Tenzin
-Tenzin has a family, and three kids
-Meelo is Tenzins little boy
-Tenzin is very serious, but when his kids are crazy, he can be really funny, tries to be the "zen master" but loses his patience sometimes
-Pema is Tenzin's wife
-Tenzin has 3 airbenders kids, Pemma however is not a bender
-Jinora, bookworm, oldest of Tenzins kids
-Iki talks a mile a minute and is really fun and crazy
-On meelo: strangely the uglier he got the cuter be became
-Revolutionarly leader is Avon (Amon) - Creepy masked guy..
-Chi Blockers are his henchmen, Ty lees discipline spread
-All of the "bad guys" are masked, very steampunk esque
-METALBENDER COPS
-Toph traveled the world and taught earthbenders how to harness the ability, a rare thing, but they are the elite, swap team of Republic city. spools on their back that release and contract metal cables so they can zip around the city
-TOPHS DAUGHTER IS CHIEF OF POLICE . no word on who the father is.

Toph's Daughter(Cheif of Police)
