Nice, I'm pumped. I've never really been a fan of sequels with totally new casts but this should have enough of the old with the new to make up for it.

I'm not sure, I watched the first one from 15 to 18 I think a lot of people that age watched it, it did have character development, dark moments along with really good animation and a good story. I heard this is to have a little bit of a darker theme, personally I would have liked to see a very dark English anime series. I can't watch Japanese Anime even though I like Afro Samurai and the dead space films.

First two episodes online now at http://www.korranation.com/

I really enjoyed both episodes and like all the characters so far.

5 episodes in, and so far I'm really liking the direction they are going. Seems different enough from the original to keep my interest.

I would really like to see them go somewhere other than Republic City... one nice adventure element to the original series was how they were always travelling from place to place. Also, what was with the visions of an adult version of Aang, Toph and Sakka Korra had in the fourth episodes? Crazy.

Definitely a good series, and it's not at all and yet still similar to the original, the comic and serious elements are all there

Yeah, I've now watched the first 4 eps, it kinda feels like it's going faster than the first series did though. Only 4 eps in and we've already jumped into conflict, or rather what seems to be the central conflict. Plus it feels a bit less grand since we're looking at a localized problem (though it's in the worlds main capital or something), not a global one (not yet anyways).

I wonder if this season will have less episodes compared to the originals? It just seems to be going quicker.

It was supposed to be just one miniseries, but they've extended it to a two-season deal (each around a dozen episodes I believe), so they're not really going that fast considering the original plan was to have as many episodes as the ones currently released :)
