DukeEsquire
http://www.engadget.com/2011/04/18/asus-eee-pad-transformer-uk-edition-review/ This is a very long review so I won't copy/paste it, but Engadget UK sounds generally positive about the device. We've only reviewed two Honeycomb tablets so far, this one included, but we find ourselves having to repeat a familiar refrain from our Android handset reviews: this is the best Honeycomb tablet yet. The Eee Pad Transformer has a manifestly superior screen to the Xoom, matches it on all key specs, and offers a keyboard dock that's extremely rich on potential added functionality. It's also a little bulkier and, thanks to its proprietary connector, less compatible than the Xoom, but with a price tag that's exactly ?100 cheaper, the Transformer can't help but be the clear-cut better choice. Unfortunately, it's hampered by software troubles, some major and some merely niggling, that prevent it from challenging the Apple hegemony at the top of the heap, but for those on a limited budget and a pressing need for a tablet, the Eee Pad is a very compelling option. As an iOS fan, I am quite interested in this device, but I'm still waiting to see the Samsung 10.1 before making a decision.

I plan to buy one tablet very soon... my choice now is between the Acer A500, the Asus eee Pad transformer and the Samsung 10.1. Bah.. nvm, eee pad does not have a GPS :( stupid omission if you ask me for a device designed to be use on the go and the current trend for geocentric app in Android. andrew_f
I thought this device was going to run Windows? Or is that another ASUS pc?

It does have GPS, contrary to what some reviews have said. I'm thinking about grabbing one of these myself, I was going to choose the Xoom but with identical specs and a cheaper price point this looks to be a better choice. Imagine what xda devs will do once they get their hands on it
