enigma1992 Posted April 29, 2011 Share Posted April 29, 2011 Hey :-0 I made a movie using Sony vegas 10 and HD videos. My movie is 30 minutes length and I need help saving it. I tried to save it under AVI and using template of HD 720-6OP YUV, but the file was huge and the save wasnot complete. How can I save it in a normal size ? Thanks. He's Dead Jim Posted April 29, 2011 Share Posted April 29, 2011 Yes I found that too when I saved as a hd avi file, at the moment I'm using the template HDV 720-30p MainConcept MPEG-2, and that creates a moderate file size, try and go on youtube and search "optimum settings sony vegas" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
liju Posted April 29, 2011 Share Posted April 29, 2011 You may be saving it as uncompressed avi, use a template which uses H264/AVC encoding. I'm sure Vegas includes a Sony AVC encoder as well as a MainConcept one. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
