Thanks Khujo for the heads up

Thats right folks, just like Windows XP SP2 and Longhorn a few weeks back another build of Windows XP SP2 has found its way onto the internet. Holding the build number 5.1.2600.1185 (xpsp2.030313-1931) there are clear indications that SP2 is progressing in it's development and might well be ready to go into its beta stages sooner than we expected.

From what we can see there are no major changes to SP2 apart from hotfixes included, no WMP9, Windows Messenger 5/MSN Messenger 6, DirectX9, or three degrees.

Thats funny, SP1 included Windows Messenger 4.7. There are already rumours of plans to intergrate 3 degrees into SP2.

I think everyone is guessing a beta in june or maybe around that time and completition before the end of the year. Now Windows Server 2003 is finished they can focus more on security and sorting out hot fixes for Sp2

I don't hold out for DX9 myself as it has no major aspects about it that mean people must have it. However WMP9 I am expecting Microsoft will push it into an SP or its codecs so that XP is compatible with Windows Server 2003's Media Services

Its build 85 for a start. WMP9 or its codecs have to be included to support Windows Server 2003's media services. 3 Degress is a rumour and like 4.7 before it in SP1, 5.0 is likely to be included. DX9 and WMM2 and merely mentioned to squash rumours that they will be in SP2.

Isn't it "lame" to troll here and then get yourself banned?
