Nintendo is to showcase the GBA2 at the next E3, which takes place in mid-May. Find out the details inside. It has been revealed that Nintendo plan to show off the GBA2 at the next E3, which begins May 17th. The unit will apparently have a large high-quality back-lit screen, as well as analogue controls.
With the emergence of the GBA2 fans may be wondering, "what's the point of the DS?" Well apparently at E3 Nintendo will be showing off software that will make the DS more like a PDA. According to Spong the new GBA2 will be based around the GameCube hardware, but that seems like a bit of a jump from the GBA. Still, more will be seen in May

Fanboy? I own a GBA, PS2, and an Xbox. What a horrid fanboy I am! I own a system from all three players and I'm considering getting a Gamecube forgames like MarioKart DD. Know the person before you speak of them. I speak pure facts. You can't look at either single piece of the PS2 and judge it. The main cpu coupled with the emotion engine simply outdoes the Gamecube, bar none.
Also, you mention the cross platform games. It is up to the developers to take advantage of each system. Look at flagship games on the systems (such as, currently, RE4 and GT4). There is no way th Gamecube could ever run the GT4 graphics the way the PS2 can.
Numbers aren't everything. It's great the Gamecube has a 2,4 gigaflop advantage, but it doesn't have some of the more advanced features that the PS2 hardware has. Add to that the fact the PS2 uses .15 micron technology, but that's just another number.
Yes, on paper, Nintendo may look to have a hardware advantage, but in action, the PS2 can shine, when done right (bitch to program for).
