Vispa is a small software, securing your Windows Vista installation and protecting your privacy. In addition to so-called Antispy features, it disables common security threats and increases your Windows performance. Based on the source-code of the award-winning Xpy version 0.9.8, Vispa allows you to easily tweak your Windows Vista for better privacy and security, even system performance. Do a few clicks rather than finding the write registry keys or program settings. The only recommendation we can give is not applying settings without vague knowledge of what you're doing. Not every setting is desired in every environment. Vispa is no tool for beginners, just a more convenient way of tweaking your operating system.

I'd rather that, than let it dial home and have MS see what's on MY computer.

Thats like admiting you have something you need to hide.

No, thats like admitting we have something we have the rights to hide from others.
Do you think that we all can see whats inside your bed when you make stuff with your girlfriend?
I guess not, so...

I like this analogy... I think I'll use it whenever someone makes the "it's all OK if you have nothing to hide" theory
Seriously, though - there are some things you don't want people to see. It doesn't mean it's something "dark" or "awful" - would you really want some random people at MS/the Govt. to know your bank account details or read your emails? (OK, this is a very, very unlikely scenario I know - but it proves the point somewhat).
