Not really. More companies should release tools like that, because uninstallers have a nasty habit of leaving a load of crap all over the system. This helps to clean all of that out. It's a good thing.

Well, I guess if all you do is burn CDs then I could see how Nero might not be the program for you. Nero strives to support everything you'd need though for DVD and CD backup though, and everything included just fits. Nero Recode 2 (DVD resizing/encoding, DVD->MPEG-4 AVC), ShowTime (playback), NeroVision (basic video/DVD editor).. nothing bloated about it.

what i can't believe is that ahead HAS to know that their power users hate the bloat. why on earth have they not made a simple bloat free burning app like nero started out?
