2006 GUI Championships set to start next week

Windows Vista is set to show off a ton of changes in the way we look at Microsoft Windows.  Meanwhile, the third bi-annual GUI Championships are set to begin next week.  The GUI Championships is an interwebsite contest in which graphics designers from around the world compete in the areas of GUI skinning, icon design, and new this year are desktop wallpapers.

Sponsors include Neowin.net, Lockergnome, deviantART, Betanews, WinCustomize.com, and others.  Anyone can participate.  Next week submissions to the contest will begin to be accepted.

Neowin's own lead administrator, Neobond, will be one of the judges.
