i was wondering why would they offer a completely free antivirus, and there are two possible explanations:

1. its bad
2. its good, but the price you have to pay is exclusive monitoring of all activity, which is being sent somewhere

UPDATE FROM LAST NIGHT: a couple of things 1st i forgot to mention that you have to install the avira and bitdefender engine's from the program as (Riggers) mentioned above. 2nd this program doesn't have a right click scan option which kinda sucks. 3rd thing is that unlike 360 Internet Security this doesn't bring pop up alerts in the corner to say about a virus you have to scan. i tested it with the eclair test virus an it didn't detect the virus until i did a quick scan so that's another downside i think im gonna go back to 360 Internet Security for now as it works a little better.

Testing this out on my couch computer. Not bad, but during the first scan, it said it found 1 item but gave me no option see what the hell it found. All I could do is clean. After I cleaned I checked the virus chest section and saw it was a Roboform Task.

Also I did a full scan and it found 1 risk item C:\windows\system32\rundll32.exe ... then it says application r..... and then gets cut off and I can't see anything about it other than either to resolve or to trust. I checked and it's also part of a roboform startup.

Yeah, actually what I tried was their other product called "360 Internet Security" it has the same issues with too much false positives and it attempts to delete system files! shame because it really does look great.

Just a heads up for anyone trying this: to install the Avira and Bitdefender engine(s) abd sigs you need to click on the icon on the main gui then move the slider accross. It should then become coloured and you should get a message from the tray icon...

If the download link from above gives you the Chinese instead of the English installer try using a proxy. If the proxy doesn't help you either, here's the English version:

http://www.mediafire.com/downl...inzd87pqze4/360TS_Setup.exe

great, thanks! i had a problem with this before, but when i installed the chinese version, hoping for a language option inside, i noticed, that on the screenshot posted in this article, the version was higher than mine, so again i tried the download provided here, and somehow it worked, while the previous time it didnt

I tried to like this software, I really liked its clean interface and features and how light it is, but I stopped using it after a few days, it kept finding false positives and when it attempted to delete a Windows file, that was it for me, hope it improves with time.

been waiting for this for a while now been using 360 Internet Security for about a year now an its pretty good really light on the system. but now what is this like well unlike 360 Internet Security this has 5 av engines instead of 3 this is really lightweight clean interface as you can see from the picture above even comes with a ccleaner like feature built in if you are looking for a mse replacement get this it's a great program.

I've been using it awhile and I like it. Keeps coming up with alerts for stuff that isn't viruses though when they want to start up with windows.

This is the 'TOTAL SECURITY' and is the first English version that it was released today. Maybe you used the '360 Internet Security' and that's a different piece of software.
