Adobe CS5.5 Giveaway & Adobe Imagination Challenge 2011 [Update: Winner announced]

Yes, it's another giveaway! This is kind of like 2 competitions in one.

In this great giveaway we have a copy of the great Adobe Creative Suite Student and Teacher Edition 5.5 for one lucky reader and also chance for you to enter the Adobe Imagination Challenge where you can win a staggering £10,000.

The Adobe Imagination Challenge

Adobe has always been synonymous with creativity; for years we’ve empowered students to find their voice in the digital world and provided the tools to help them express it. Our software is globally recognised as a leader in fostering innovation and it is with this in mind that we are proud to announce the launch of our newest initiative to help students nurture and promote their talent – the Adobe Imagination Challenge.

The Adobe Imagination Challenge, which will be live until November, offers everything students need to get the most from Adobe software as well as offering them the opportunity to gain national recognition and, with the help of our celebrity judges, three will walk away with a top prize of £10,000 each.

The Adobe Student portal will be the hub of the competition; from there you can find our library of videos, tutorials and blogs as well as download trial versions of Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Student and Teacher Edition so that everyone, from novices to pros can express themselves using Adobe software.

Our guest judges, Helena Christensen (supermodel, photographer), Greg James (TV & Radio presenter) and David Rowan (Editor – Wired UK) will oversee the competition judging. Our dedicated YouTube channel will be feature judges videos including: interviews, their own creative work and a series of creative challenges.

How to enter?

To enter the Adobe Imagination Challenge competition all you need to do is create something using Adobe software. The entry requirements are wide open, just like your imagination. Whether it’s a poster, a video, an engineering plan, a poem or a dream the competition is all about finding a way to share that vision in your own, unique way.

To get started visit the Adobe Student Portal at https://students-adobe.com/UK where you can find all the information you need to capture your creativity.

Woot! I agree with most of these comments -- this is such an awesome giveaway! I've tweeted about this and Like-d this post (as per instructions) and I'm so hoping to get picked come drawing time! Count me in!

This would be amazing for me to start using CS5.5 at home, as I am currently studying Interactive Digital Multimedia, Visual Communication & Design, as well as being a freelance Graphic Designer & Web Developer. <3

Awesome! Thank you! This would be great to have to help with the website that I am creating for my church. Good Luck to all who entered!

Does the Google +1 count as an entry? I just deleted my facebook account in wake of their newest changes...

Wow..... I'm sure it won't be me who wins this awesome prize, but damn if I'm not gonna try. Sadly, Adobe suite is extremely expensive for me right now, but it's got great tools, and I'd love having a copy.

Also when entering, do I have to do both parts or just one of the two?

Tweeting the page using the button at the top essentially tweets the same thing as option 1, so I'm guessing it's one or the other.
