"haven't been great" is the understatement of the year. Completely broken any Flash based TV service would be a better description.

I really don't understand what they have done but since the last update BBCi Player and ITV player just cause a massive crash. Even Ctrl+Alt+Del doesn't work. The only option is to pull the plug out. I thought it might be my GPU dying but I can watch video via VLC all day but as soon as I try to watch something that needs Flash it all goes mental. And it started the exact time of the update. Something is very wrong.

The last couple versions haven't been great. It's gotten bad for me as well.

Yeah I had awful audio crash issues with 11.8 I had to downgrade to 11.7 to resolve it. Gonna hold off updating until I know if the issue is still present or fixed. I can't wait for Flash to die.

I JUST checked here, http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html before coming here and this isn't even up on the Adobe site yet!!

Thanks

Edit:
Just went to the Adobe site via the link above. What a screwed up way of trying to sneak that McAfee thing in by having it stuffed way up at the top of the page, plus the way this thing wants to download is messed up too. I'll wait until it's posted at the link I just posted above, before updating.

That Mcafee garbage should be abolished and not forced on users.
Thanks

Very much appreciated here to have neowin.net be always among the first to notify Adobe Flash updates and also to propose both version plus uninstaller download links.
