Unfortunately,
My wife's credit union site will not work with anything other than this bloated, insecure POS, so I have to have it on 1 computer!

ADP's payroll site seems to have the same issue for me. So also stuck with it with IE. Acrobat on Firefox also gives me fits with ADPs site.

If you're talking about the main background colour of the program you can change it:

In %AppData%\SumatraPDF you can find a file named "SumatraPDF-settings.txt", in mine the first setting is MainWindowBackground. Set it to #80f0f0f0 for example and enjoy .

Thanks for the heads up.

Sadly this doesn't seem to fix the bug whereby IE still renders PDFs to the browser even though you have turned off all of the Internet options. You still have to directly disable the plug-in.

no thanks, i despise adobe reader for keep trying to registering browser (IE) plugins, and theres no(?) option to opt-out
