Ugh!

Forced to have this bloatware/POS installed on wife's computer for her credit union site as no other pdf reader will work with that equally miserable POS site!

Thanks

Agreed, the best PDF reader out there IMO.
Fast, stable, reliable, no 'crapware' included.

Adobe really needs to stop these junky updates...
Adobe Reader v11.0.06 = 50MB
Adobe Reader v11.0.07 = 71MB

21MB!! what the hell did adobe put in this version?

I use Adobe Reader because it - unlike most every PDF reader out there - basically is *THE* PDF reader that doesn't pooch things like fonts or format structures or most of the other issues. I know when I load a PDF in Reader it's going to be displayed exactly as it was meant to, and I can't say that about anything else that can display a PDF file (at least on Windows which is my primary OS that matters).

Having said that, the very first thing I noted - since I manually update from time to time - was the nearly doubling of size from 11.0.06 to 11.0.07 so honestly I don't know what the hell Adobe chose to thrown into the program but it works exactly the same as it did before, nothing different that I can tell in using it for 24+ hours now.

It's just twice as large and apparently nobody can figure out why... :(
