All My Movies v5.4

Bolide Software announced today a new version of All My Movies, a popular movie collection organizer program. New to this version is a radically redesigned interface, which shows the database of movies on photorealistic shelves.


All My Movies lets you easily import movie details from an online movie databases, so you don't need to type all the detauils manually. You can quickly search your database via almost all database fields. Also, you can export your movie collection to HTML, CHM, XLS, PDF and text formats. The program allows to capture snapshots directly from your DVDs or AVI files and save them to your database.

Here is the list of recent changes:

  • added: new collection view mode - virtual shelf with several predefined skins. You can change view mode in the View menu
  • added: total collection value calculation in the statistics
  • added: an ability to select a range of the episodes in the Episodes tab for deletion
  • fixed and improved: large cover images search on Amazon

For video files, I could see the point of something like this; for a DVD collection, a stroll over to your DVD shelf seems like a lot less bother.

old versions are buggy, stall a lot and you can't even use CTRL to select/deselect movies when adding from a directory..

dont know if they fixed these, but i hate installing trial ware.

When are they getting a 2009 year interface? looks like it was made in 1990's
