Amazon has some more Xbox One consoles in stock [Update: Best Buy too]

Want a chance to get the Xbox One before Christmas? Amazon, which has consistently been the only online retailer to put new units of Microsoft's console on sale since its launch a few weeks ago, has done so yet again with a new shipment now available for order

The listing for the standard $499.99 version of the Xbox One warns that it will take between one to two days for the order to be processed, so if you are getting this as a Christmas present you might want to get your order in ASAP. There's no listings of any game bundles this time, as there was with the last time Amazon had the Xbox One on sale, which is a bummer.

The NPD group stated Thursday that 909,132 units of the Xbox One had been sold in the U.S. in November. Earlier this week, Microsoft said 2 million of the consoles had been sold in its 13 markets since the November 22nd launch. Microsoft's director of Xbox Live programming Larry Hyrb noted in a Twitter message this week that the Xbox 360 took five months to reach the 2 million sales number. Add it all up, and demand for the Xbox One remains very high and there's no signs it is slowing down.

Update: Best Buy's website is showing that it has Xbox One consoles in stock as well and they will be shipped by December 24th, just in time for Christmas.

I gotta say that even though the game line up for the Xbox One is weak, I really am enjoying the console as an entertainment hub. The Blu-ray player is very good. So good that if I ever manage to finish my playing through the backlog of PS3 games I might just pull it out of my media center and go Xbox only.

This is going to be a long sales cycle, as others have said, after the holidays are over getting a either one probably won't be an issue.

Btw, anyone want to buy a Wii U cheap?

FINALLY! I haven't been able to find a place that had the standard Xbox One in stock. I don't want any flipping bundles, I just want the device. I do not like console gaming--only PC gaming--so throwing in an extra controller or games is such a waste for me. Heck, I don't even need the one controller that comes with the standard, unless the unit forces me to use it for controlling things are WANT the device to do. Ultimately, I just want to be able to do everything with voice and gesture. That's it.

They try to force it on people unless its a MS bundle you can deny the rest of the crap. Say you'll take it when you get it to the register buy everything then return what they forced you to buy.

It's been going back and forth whether they have some or not, but I was able to get one ordered earlier today. I saw PS4's yesterday but could never add one to my cart.
