Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow makes its way to Samsung's Galaxy S5 LTE-A

Last week, Samsung began its Marshmallow rollout for the Galaxy S5 Plus. Aimed at Europe, the Plus variant of the company's 2014 flagship once held the title of the 'world's fastest Android phone', thanks to its Snapdragon 805 processor.

Along with the standard Galaxy S5, the latest version of Android is now making its way to another variant of the device.

Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow is now available for the Galaxy S5 LTE-A in South Korea, bumping its software build number up to G906KKTU1CPE1. As on other Samsung devices, the update comes with all the tasty goodness available in Google's Marshmallow release, along with a few of the Korean company's own additions, such as its TouchWiz interface.

Google released Android 6.0 Marshmallow over seven months ago, but so far, it's been installed on just 7.5% of active devices.
