AOL launches video search service

As the war between the two web giants, Google & Yahoo, rages on, AOL joins the arena by quietly launching a new video-on-demand service.

AOL Video Beta, launched Thrusday, grants users the access to over 15,000 licensed and original videos from Time Warner, including music videos, news segments from CNN & MSNBC and Warner Bros. movie trailers.

AOL is expected to only officially announce the new beta service on Tuesday, but users can already access the service by visiting the AOL search homepage, and selecting the 'Video Search' on the menu on the left.
