Apple iPhone 2.2.1 update released

Apple has released an update for the iPhone software today.

This update contains bug fixes and improvements, including the following:

  • Improved general stability of Safari
  • Fixed issue where some images saved from Mail do not display correctly in the Camera Roll

Still no copy and paste, MMS or any bonus features this time around by the looks of things.

According to the un-official iPhone Dev Team, who provide unlocking solutions for the iPhone, "WARNING -- there are early indications that today's 3G firmware update (2.2.1_5H11) will break yellowsn0w -- do not install it".
