Armed Assault Goes Gold - For Germany

Bluesnews is reporting that the highly anticipated "spiritual" successor and sorta-sequel to Operation Flashpoint - Armed Assault has now gone gold and will be in German stores on November 30th. That's it. No European release date, and no North American release date, which is a little disappointing. Regardless, German gamers can get their hands on Armed Assault in a couple of weeks, and hopefully an English release date will be announced soon. The last news report was that an English language release was still scheduled for early 2007, more than likely in January itself.

Operation Flashpoint, to this day is one of the best online multiplayer shooters. It outdid Battlefield 1942 a year or so before 1942 came out. Let's hope Bohemia Interactive has Armed Assault on that same track.
