ATI goes mobile with P4

Since ATI and Intel have been in love for some months now, ATI has surprisingly won the exclusive right to build just such a chipset. We can be positive that both Intel and ATI are working on this chipset and we can be pretty sure that the ATI chipset will have an integrated graphic chip inside. The best solution that I can think of is a Radeon 7500 mobile which can really make an impact in the mobile gaming community – if such a thing exists.

We are unsure what Nvidia can offer in this arena but we know that Nforce can be used as a mobile platform as well and that Nvidia will be doing everything it can to makes things hard for ATI in the mobile arena.

Now ATI has a license to make this chipset, it is certain to make money from it as it will be one of very few available at launch, but Nvidia has the capability to develop Nforce for both P4 mobile and desktop. What it doesn't have is a licence.

How about Nvidia making some mobile chipsets for AMD's mobile Palominos and Morgans, leaving ATI will go for the mobile P4?
