Avira uses more resources on my computer than AVG does. And it has a nag screen. I'm switching back to AVG.

Yes it is detected by Windows XP Security Center. And no it does not mess with your email settings like McAfee and Norton. Actually it's only downside in my opinion is it doesn't scan e-mail. I'm like "linx05" though, I use NOD32 but if I went freeware I'd go Avira AntiVir. It does have a better detection rate than AVG and Avast.

If I wasn't using NOD32, I would be using this. VERY GOOD AV! Look up its detection rate and it beats the well knowns.
