Batman: Arkham City Lockdown iOS app updated

Popular iOS title Batman: Arkham City Lockdown has received a major update today in the form of enhanced graphics for the new iPad and a new level.

The update which can be downloaded via the iTunes App store on your iOS device or PC/Mac via iTunes adds support for the 2048 x 1536 resolution on the new iPad while also adding improved visual effects and details such as enhanced user interface elements and update hi-resolution wallpapers available within the app.

The new level, which has been included in the update, includes two new enemies in Poison Ivy and Robin. This level “introduces a brand new style of gameplay that has players taking cover as Poison Ivy takes control of the Gotham City police force and turns them into her unwilling henchmen”.

Other additional features are three new DC Comics that have been added to the game via the Comixology Viewer and the option to purchase a Batman Year One skin.
