Belkin adds 'squeak' to its growing mobility range

NORTHAMPTON, UK - 5th August 2003 - the leading manufacturer of computer peripherals and accessories, today announces the UK launch of its funky, compact and lightweight, MiniWireless Optical Mouse.

The stylish MiniWireless Optical Mouse is a miniature alternative to a conventional mouse and is an ergonomic triumph, designed specifically for the mobility market. Perfect for people on the move, the MiniWireless Optical Mouse offers fluid, optical motion when users navigate documents, or the Web. Instead of the very often irksome rubber ball found in traditional mice, it utilises a digital optical sensor that photographs surface motion at 1,500 frames per second, and is able to work at a distance of up to 91cm from a computer or notebook. At only 87mm nose to tail, and just 48mm at its widest point, the MiniWireless Optical Mouse is a compact classic.

The introduction of the MiniWireless Optical Mouse further enhances Belkin's mobility range, which includes; a USB Flash Drive for easy data storage and movement, a Universal AC Travel Adapter that eliminates the hassle of having to carry multiple adapters and the Numeric Keypad-19 Key for those users wishing to create spreadsheets and get to grips with financial applications easily, whilst on the move.
