Microsoft has some special gifts in store for Bing users this holiday season. Details are scarce, but they've been sending out invitations to a program called the 'Bing Magical Holiday Calendar' that will deliver a new gift to users every day, from December 1st to 31st.
All you have to do to qualify is sign up for the Bing newsletter. So, what kind of gifts should we be expecting? So far, the only hint that's been dropped is that it's 'bigger than a breadbox.' More sneak peeks are promised to everyone who signs up to the Bing newsletter, so take care of that if you haven't already. We can't wait to see what they've got in store. Any guesses?
Microsoft has been trying to attract new users to Bing using a variety of programs and special deals, including Bing Rewards and Bing Deals. They also previously offered the very popular Bing Cashback program. The strategy seems to be working, too, with Bing showing growth nearly every quarter. Some analysts have even predicted that Bing could actually surpass Google next year, as reported by Mashable. Regardless, you've got to hand it to them; they do try to make search exciting, and that's not an easy task.
