Black Friday 2011 for Xbox 360 fans just got better. Microsoft had already launched a Xbox Live Fan Appreciation Week earlier in the week where the company put a lot of games, game add-ons, themes, avatar items and more on sale for the rest of the week. Today Microsoft added even more sales specifically for Black Friday 2011 only.
From now until 3 am Eastern time on Saturday, you can download the great post-apocalyptic RPG Fallout 3 for $29.99 via the Games on Demand service. You can also purchase two Xbox Live Arcade games, Warhammer 40,000 Kill Team and Full House Poker, for 400 Microsoft points each, a 50 percent savings. Finally, Marvel Vs Capcom 2 can be yours for today online for just 320 Microsoft points, a savings of 73 percent. Microsoft will have some additional games on sale for Cyber Monday next week.
Keep in mind that Microsoft still has a 33 percent discount for its 12 month Xbox Live Gold service from now until Monday. As an added bonus, from now until Sunday all of the free Xbox Live Silver members have been boosted up to Gold status which means those players can participate in multiplayer matches, check out features like ESPN and Netflix and more that are available just to Gold members.
