Excited

But sadly it's already 11pm here and I have work in the morning, so I'll have to go to bed and read what happened tomorrow morning

Hope it's being released for the SGS2!

If the way they "updated" the Epic is any indication, good luck...

Looks like he's from the UK and probably has the international version of the S2, if it's like its predecessor then it'll have it within a couple of months

bring it on, cyanogen!

unless Google is king enough to release it to CM team this won't be released AOSP untile a months or two.
They will push it to OEM that are part of the Open Handset group then will mais it open.

I understand why but still sad. Still hope XOOM will have it soon enough

It all depends on the manufacturer. Currently, only the Google Nexus One and Google Nexus S get updates quickly. That's because they lack manufacturer customizations like Samsung's TouchWiz UI and HTC's Sense UI.

Why dont they make a general x86 release. With the other linuxes left in a wasteland of ugly, unstable, and almost unseable, after the introduction of KDE4, Gnome 3, and Unity it would be nice to get hold of android for the desktop.

there's a port of Android x86

there's rumor that Intel will have tablet soon on Android so maybe an official port is near.
GoogleTV is running on x86 and ICS will be ported soon I'm sure

There's a project dedicated to that at http://www.android-x86.org/ with support for a handful of notebooks.

pfft android.... makes me cringe, my dad's incredible is so slow/ glitchy

Most phones that are a year and a half old feel slow.

10am = 1pm here in Sydney Aus. What a fun lunchtime this is going to be.

PS I've never even eaten an ice cream sandwich before, and I'm 25!

DDDRRRROOOOIIIIIDDDDDD... Only 35-50 minutes to go. I've been waiting for the "Droid Prime" now "Galaxy Nexus" for two months. I can't wait for the demo of ICS and reveal of the Nexus.

not bad but very disappointing about some features that just didn't work like face unlock...

the nfc features its not that impressive... When i saw the APP i was like WAO APP SHARING but then i realize NO its too good to be true... while it looks great and its a lot of potential i find it symbian belle like in many aspects even NFC....

The camera at 5 mpx its very low and i dont think it will beat iphone 4s or even galaxy S II camera which its disappointing if we take into account that this its google and android flagship phone.

The magazine view its so Metro UI like but its not bad it fit very well.

And the way they ended the conference i mean seriously, this guys need to copy more other hi techs companies with conference like sony, microsoft nintendo or apple.
