The newest version of this WITHOUT open candy is still pending.

They certainly love taking there time in making builds without open candy. I would think it would be simpler, to create the non open candy version first, then make one with open candy a while after. ccleaner does the same, which is sad. Linux doesn't suffer from this, while win does.

What does it take to get this thing to include the name of the artist when burning a cd?

I switch between Linux and Windows quite often and K3b can burn a disc and include the name of the artist so that it is displayed when playing the disc in my cars, but CDBurnerXP never does.

It does at least display the name of the tune. Other than that little item, I've used this thing for years and never had an issue.

It's too bad k3b doesn't work on win.

Are you sure it doesn't work? I never noticed the artist name missing.
