Cortana brings voice commands to Netflix in Windows 10

Netflix users who use the Windows 10 application are now able to use virtual assistant Cortana to find movies and TV shows, through the use of its voice command feature. The update provides a list of search results, where users can begin playback straight away while remaining hands-free.

It currently seems as though the feature only works in the U.S. which isn't surprising considering previous limited region support. It is likely the update will be made available to other areas in the future - we will keep you updated.

We have seen Cortana become increasingly integrated with external third-party services including the latest connection with LinkedIn among potential functionality within vehicles. The intelligent personal assistant also looks to be made available in more countries, so we may see a drive for even more Cortana functionality in the not too distant future.
