Cortana shows up on Bing Settings page

Ahead of its reveal later on today, Microsoft’s new digital assistant, Cortana, has started showing up around the web.

As Cortana is powered by Bing, users heading into the search engine’s settings page will find some options related to the digital assistant.

Cortana will pull data from your Windows Phone and Microsoft services to offer up a personalized experience for each user. Calendar appointments, recent searches, location information will all come together in this new service.

However, not everyone will be so eager to share that much information with Microsoft so users have the option of heading into the Bing settings pane and deleting any such information shared with the company.

We’ll be getting a lot more information on Cortana, Windows Phone 8.1 and other Microsoft products as BUILD gets on later today, so stay tuned.
