Crysis Single Player Demo Coming September 25

I have good news for those gamers unable to wait until Crysis hits stores worldwide on November 16, 2007. One of the most, if not the most highly anticipated video game of the year is about to show itself off with a single player demo of the first level. On September 25, get ready to enter the game's campaign mode, which is said to include a "huge surprise" by developer Crytek. I will personally be using the demo to test whether or not my system can handle the pressure put out by the game's unmatched visuals and physics demonstrated in the breathtaking trailers.

I sure hope my system will be powerful enough to run it. I'll probably have to use medium settings, but man does it look good in those screenshots! I love the fact you'll be able to destroy almost everything.

Millions of PC's all around the world will implode and turn into Black Holes when they try to run Crysis. Thus beginning the destruction of the Earth.

Thanks alot Crytek!

Is this game going to play on my ATI X850 vid card? Looks like all the other new DEMOS wont play on it.

I doubt it. maybe on very low settings? I just ordered a 8800gts coming in two days. Its not the rootkit in bioshock that bothers me, its that you can only activate the game 5 times.

I can't wait!!! Hopefully my machine will be able to run it..

It ridiculous that copy protection are in Demo's.

How should companies combat piracy? You think people pirate because games are so expensive? Since the games are expensive and when you spend your cash for a lame game you are stuck with that game?

huge surprise = rootkit?

:-?

I always enjoy copy protection in my DEMOS! These companies are out of control. If they keep this up they will kill PC gaming. At least for themselves, because there will always be others willing to try.

So I don't know, maybe it would be a good thing if all these big-name publishers drop dead, so a new generation of developers can do things right, without "The Man" censoring them and deciding what is supposedly good or not.

I am having to work overtime to get a pc to run this game, currently my laptop would struggle to spin up the dvd

at least there is a demo date now. It's not like Crytek has left all us hardcore gamers drooling for how long now? At any rate I can't wait until 09.25.07
