Fileplanet and 3dgamers both have announced that on August 8th (next Tuesday) the long awaited moment for RPG fans will finally arrive. A single player demo of Arkane Studios highly anticipated entry in the Might and Magic series of games will surely make fans happy. Please note however, this demo will not include any sort of multiplayer. Of course Kuju Studio is developing the multiplayer portion of the game, and that is currently in closed beta test as we speak. No other information is available on what the single player demo will include. One would have to assume a decent sized mission of some sort, maybe a castle siege!
In any event, for the few of you who don't know, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is being built on a highly customized Source engine, and the game itself will be distributed on Steam (and in retail stores) sometime later this year, supposedly in October but we know how game release dates go.
