Dishonored system requirements unveiled

We're only a few months away from the launch of some pretty big games, and Arkane Studios' Dishonored is definitely one of them. The first-person action adventure game sees you assassinate targets through the industrial city of Dunwall, using stealth and combat through a variety of missions that can be tackled in numerous ways.

The game is launching in North America on October 9th, and today on the Dishonored Facebook page the system requirements were revealed. 4 GB of RAM seems to be a requirement to run the game, but everything else is pretty much standard across today's machines.

Minimum Spec:

  • OS: Windows Vista / Windows 7
  • Processor: 3.0 GHz dual core or better
  • Memory: 4 GB system RAM
  • Hard Disk Space: 9 GB
  • Video Card: DirectX 9 compatible with 512 MB video RAM or better (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 / ATI Radeon HD 5850)
  • Sound: Windows compatible sound card 

Recommended Spec:

  • OS: Windows Vista / Windows 7
  • Processor: 2.4 GHz quad core or better
  • Memory: 4 GB system RAM
  • Hard Disk Space: 9 GB
  • Video Card: DirectX 9 compatible with 768 MB video RAM or better (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 / ATI Radeon HD 5850)
  • Sound: Windows compatible sound card

1 year before my 6 series get obsoleted

Well idk. Considering how long it's taken to get to that. Probably another 2 or 3 yrs.
