Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock released for PS3

The BBC today announced that Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock has been released around the world exclusively for the PlayStation 3.

The game sees you play the legendary Doctor and his travelling companion River Song as they travel through time to save the Earth. You will be able to make use of the Doctor’s “Sonic Screwdriver” and River’s “Blaster” as you play through four different London time periods.

Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock also comes with what the company call “collaborative multiplayer capabilities” which allows players to play in different time periods simultaneously in a different twist on multiplayer gaming.

As expected the stars of the TV series Matt Smith and Alex Kingston lend both their voices and likeness to the game as you come up against famous Doctor Who foes such as the Silurians, Cybermen, Daleks and the Silence.

You can download the game today via the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3 for £13.99 in the UK, $19.99 in the U.S and around Europe for €17.99. A PlayStation Vita version of the game is due to be released next month, while a PC version will follow later this year.
