Exclusive: Vanishing Point at Las Vegas

We've just got back from the revealing of the Vanishingpointgame.

As we are stuck for time I am uploading the video of what you need to play as a player to YouTube.

Loki was not present but I met the guy who will be flying the actual plane into space was and I got a picture with him. I met with Loki last night and although she did not reveal anything at the time, she was happy to pose for a picture. Both pictures and some more information will be posted tomorrow. Please keep an eye on the TV for any news stations across the world. I was interviewed about the game a few moments ago and Microsoft will be pushing this out to news stations globally.

Good luck guys

Would love to see the pics of you and the actual Loki. Did she seem to be as she portrays herself, or is she just an actress?

It's just a layering effect that Google does to its images. They take two satellite images at different times and at different positions and then when they try to blend it together, they have to blur the edges to make them match. It is the blurring filter which makes it seem to vanish into thin air.

Have you been there? You wouldn't know it was in a desert at all.

Of course when you look back outside near the freeway, OMG you won't believe the flat, barren wasteland-like view.

Yep..

Water projection? Didn't even think that was possible!

Looks like Microsoft is cooking up something big.

OLD!!

Disney's been doing it for ages. Check out Fantasmic at Disney-MGM Studios in Florida. Or in the Pirates of the Carribean ride they project onto steam (or fog or something) and the boat goes through it!!! TOO COOL!

Yeah they have it as Disneyland too, never been there though so I wasn't sure if they also used the water effects.

edit- the play on the island is called Fantasmic people always call it Fantasia though because of the movie
