Fallout Shelter is coming to the PC

Fallout Shelter made its way to Android and iOS devices last year. Bethesda's title soared to popularity, overtaking Candy Crush Saga as the third most popular iOS game in just three days. Now, the company has announced that its strategy and time management-based hit title will also be making its way to the PC.

Bethesda has announced that the game will soon be available as a free downloadable title on the company's website. Boasting over 50 million players (more than the players of all the Fallout games combined), Fallout Shelter will be aiming to expand its user base when it launches on PC, release dates are yet to be announced.

Additionally, the company is also adding Quests to the game as a part of the 1.6 update. Bethesda states:

Overseers will be able to take control of their Dwellers and travel to new locations like abandoned buildings and decrepit Vaults, or even familiar spots like Fallout 4’s Red Rocket Fuel Stop and Super Duper Mart. With this all-new Quest system, you can now assemble a group of Dwellers to take on challenges outside of the Vault, uncover legendary loot, and face off against new enemies like Radscorpions, Ghouls and powerful bosses as you traverse the Wasteland.

The company has also stated that the 1.6 update will be available for download next month and will be packaged with the PC release as well.
