Final Fantasy XIII Coming To Xbox 360

Sorry, Sony. The Xbox 360 is finally going to get a blockbuster RPG. Square has announced at the Microsoft press conference that Final Fantasy XIII is going to be released on Xbox 360 the same day as PS3 in North America and Europe. What a huge coup for Microsoft, and what a great piece of news for Xbox 360 owners who also happen to be great console RPG lovers.

this mai be good or bad this could go either way but for ff lovers this is like a big deal becuase now xbox live users can now enjoy a series they love. i love ff but not enough to think its goons b a big success i dk maibe people can prove me wrong. all we can do is wait and see

This is HUGE news. While anyone that is not a FF fan might not realize it, FF is THE RPG and was going to be my excuse to finally get a PS3, might have to wait now and just build a HTPC for blue ray instead.

Please let this be the beginning of the end of most platform exclusives. If a developer wants to develop for only one system, that's fine, but when companies purchase exclusive rights to titles it sucks for the consumer.

Well, this is a shock I bet to all the die-hard Playstation fans who swore to god time and again that we'd never ever see FF13 on the 360 (maybe a future FF but not 13!).

Oh well, just shows that Square-enix, like the others in the industry, are going more multiplatform to boost overall profits.

XI was an MMO, really different.

Ah, fair enough. I'll let that one slide then.

I didn't seem to like FFVII, though, and everyone says that one is the best one. I found it boring again. When it comes to RPGs, I prefer action ones, like Mass Effect and Oblivion, not turn-based ones.
