Multiplayer can be a barrier to new gamers such as myself. Ok I'm not a true new gamer but I don't invest that much time in online gaming because quite frankly I suck at that. Spawn, move 3 feet, get shot, wait a while to get back into the action, spawn, run and a few seconds later I'm dead again etc etc.

ME3 seemed to penalise more than most those who don't do or want to multiplayer as the readyness would never go up unless you went on-line.

The MP has always had a fantastic storyline and I hope that resources have been ploughed into that so it doesnt become GTA with Max Payne.

am i the only one who prefers to play a single player story anymore? so sick of multiplayer and the people's crappy attitudes... i guess dlc's will rarely add to stories from now on... still can't wait for this one though!!

i completely agree.

i tend to prefer single player in most games over multiplayer as i only like multiplayer on some types of games which are generally few and far between.

I'm all about multiplayer, but in games like Max Payne, i only care about the single player, to me the multiplayer in games like this is usually an after thought and and tacked on to try and extend the longevity of the game in order to sell more DLC.

And then you have games like COD or BF, where these days i'ts the single player that's an afterthought, and they simply should just put more work into the Multiplayer.

You do have some games that are good at both though, i'm a follower of Blizzard, and SC2 has a fantastic single player, and a really strong competative scene, again Diablo is a great single player game, or a great multiplayer co-op game.

although i mostly prefer single player i completely agree with you on your basic points there.

No you're not alone, I only play single-player. Any game with multiplayer these days typically has a crappy single player campaign so I tend to ignore them.

Sadly for Max that will include MP3 as well. Can't beat the original, so stop trying.

I'm not buying MP3 though on account of the extra weapon damage pre-order bonus, coz that **** is retarded
