For $4.99, PC gamers can binge from EA's new PC subscription service dubbed 'Origin Access'

EA has announced a new subscription gaming service for PCs dubbed 'Origin Access'. The service will be offered for $4.99 USD a month, and will give gamers access to an expanding inventory of games.

If the program sounds familiar, it is because EA offers something identical for its Xbox customers. EA is advertising Origin Access as having "endless PC gaming" and while this could be interpreted in different ways, the services' lineup of games isn't quite 'endless' and at the moment only offers gamers access to 15 titles.

Titles currently available from Origin Access:

  • Battlefield 4 Digital Deluxe
  • Dragon Age: Inquisition Digital Deluxe

  • Battlefield Hardline Digital Deluxe

  • Battlefield 3

  • SimCity

  • FIFA 15

  • Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare

  • Need for Speed Rivals: Complete Edition

  • Dead Space 3

  • Dragon Age II

  • Dead Space 2

  • Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition

  • Dead Space

  • The Sims 3 Starter Pack

  • This War of Mine

Naturally, the assortment will continue to grow over time and Origin Access subscribers will also be able to take advantage of other benefits like trials of EA games before their official release, 10% off Origin purchases and other savings perks.
