i tried it once or twice, i couldnt figure a way to make it download magnets, so i uninstalled it and stuck with qbittorrent

Magnet links are working fine but not directly from your browser. You have to copy & paste into 'File' -> 'Add torrent from URL' ; there you can paste the Magnet link.

@exotoxic
It is bundled with OpenCandy, not big deal. Nowadays 90% of the free software is bundled with something.

thank you for explaining this, for me its too much trouble, as of lately ive become more lazy tech-wise so i want to get it done as easy as possible, after installing windows 8.1 all browsers but IE 11 gives me error 404 when i look for higher resolution of a current image, creating a new google account fixed it for a few days now its back to it and i dont care anymore

Free Torrent Download does not contain spyware or adware.

orly??

DVDVideoSoft may bundle links to other websites and third-party apps installations including toolbars in its products.

Clearly falls under the definition of adware.

I'm still trying to figure out why people use torrents anyway?

I can find anything I need without using them and usually MUCH faster!

when you do figure it out, do write a book about it, im sure it will be a bestseller

@wakjak,
I don't understand why anyone uses uTorrent over BitTorrent, as the latter is always released a few days later with bugfixes found in the latest stable uTorrent build, making it essentially much more secure and efficient.

So the only natural answer to the lack of proper point you were too lazy to make is - let people use whatever the hell they want, some might find it easier to handle and don't care about all the bells and whistles.

What century are you living in? You may not use torrents(So you say), but someone else might.

Diversity is nice to have, right?
Not when this diversity is fat. 22Meg versus uTorrent that is less than 1meg

Torrent client should be 5meg or under. If it's over 5meg, I think one should start to wonder why it is that big. There are a ton more torrent client to choose from. Why do you give me the option to choose the 22meg torrent? Let me clarify that. No way in hell it will ever be my option.
