Nirv sent me an email heres what he had to say:

Just finished putting up Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault screenshots, thought you may be intrested. These are all from the final build of the game, 800x600x32 (sorry for low resolution)

No worries man, thanks for sending this in and take a look, there are some nice screenies there!

NCC's recommendations for the development of the market include:
  • Availability of independent support and guidance to advise the professional IT user community on the availability and suitability of open source products
  • The establishment of a National Library of Open Source software and compliance tests, to independently evaluate open source products for reliability and interoperability
  • The creation of standards to promote excellence in open source software development, distribution, and operational implementation
  • A national focus for the promotion of Open Technologies and Standards - including improved marketing through the support of pilot projects, the generation of case study material and the establishment of a clear cost of ownership model for open source software
  • The setting up of an independent convenor of open source initiatives to co-ordinate and leverage market opportunities for UK organisations
Michael Gough, chief executive of NCC, said, "the UK would benefit greatly from the establishment of a stable alternative to the use of proprietary software, both in terms of business innovation and competitiveness, and in support of the UK software industry."

NCC's report Open Source - The UK Opportunity was compiled after in-depth interviews with 30 IT professionals, representative of a cross section of public and private organisations in the UK, some of whom had already adopted open source solutions.

Ive just been playing the demo... this game leaves RTCW for dead!! There goes my life for another few days

I notice that it's out on warez already... these 'warez groups' must be quite HUGE to get a hold of these games so quickly and distribute them. Oh well, I'll wait and see how popular the game is [and see a few more reviews] before I go and buy it.... I don't buy games for single-player so I want to see how the community goes. Does this games still use the Q3 engine [like I heard about a year ago]? If so will it I hope it will run as fast as [preferably faster than] RTCW.

I got my grubby hands on the fairlight release. And i have to say it rocks and well worth poping out to buy. I for sure will be making a dash for it once it is in the shops. Just a pitty there is no co/op game play in it. Silent

Doesnt make sense to release in March since didn't it just go gold like a couple of weeks ago ? The January, 22 date sounds more plausible

I can confirm that the release date is january 22nd, in scandinavia at least. I am a gamesreviewer and I generally get all EA games to review so I have confirmation that january 22nd is the releasedate. - Gmarthin
