The successful release of Unreal Tournament 2003 is extremely important to Infogrames. The decision has therefore been made that Unreal Tournament 2003 will be released in August 2002 so that the title is of the highest standard when released. Infogrames, EPIC and Digital Extremes are fully aware of the anticipation for this product from the huge Unreal fan base and want to produce something that will blow fans and newcomers away. The Unreal brand is an enormous license and all relevant teams want to adhere to the quality that has been achieved in the past.

because without Atari you'd have nothing to bitch about. Infogames owns them now and the label is still a valuable resource to have.

Hey Jassco....you need to ask yourself a question...Do I want them to release the game now with a good chance that it's going to be buggy and suck or let them completely finish it and release the best game ever? Which one do you want? In the mean time, just continue playing the best game that is out now, UT. Have fun, enjoy life, stop worrying about the small stuff.

I'd rather them get it right than release something I have to constantly patch (like Microsloth!). I can wait.
