Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix is the sequel to the groundbreaking hit. Based on the popular military enthusiast magazine, Soldier of Fortune II offers one of the most visceral FPS experiences ever. With even more over-the-top realism, authentic military weapons, real-world locations and cutting edge technology - Soldier of Fortune II plunges players into the deadly world of the modern day mercenary as they race around the globe to stop a bio-terrorist organization.

Here's a collection of screens from the new maps in the upcoming patch for Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix. The first pair of screens show the Kamchatka Factory map, the second pair show the Airport Warehouse, the third pair show the Hong Kong Streets map and the final pair show the Barn map.

The plan will also limit what arrives (and runs on) your computer according to where it comes from and who creates it. It won't let others pretend to be you. The system uses high-level encryption to "seal" data so that snoops and thieves are thwarted. It is also being offered to the studios and record labels as a way to distribute music and film with "digital rights management" (DRM) which could allow users to exercise "fair use" (like making personal copies of a CD) and publishers could at least start releasing works that cut a compromise between free and locked-down.

One hurdle in establishing this trust technology is getting people to trust Microsoft, Levy writes. To diffuse the inevitable skepticism, the company has begun educational briefings of industry groups, security experts, government agencies and civil-liberties watchdogs and is taking the unusual step of publishing the system's source code. Early opinion-makers are giving them the benefit of the doubt. "I'm willing to take a chance that the benefits are more than the potential downside," says Dave Farber, a renowned Internet guru. "But if they screw up, I'll squeal like a bloody pig."

I bought it about 3 weeks ago, it's a great game, but the story line was awfully weak, by my standards at least.

the server options are pretty weak on this game and i still can't get random map generator to change maps automatic, they really didn't spend much time on server side i think. and whats up with no microphone support...

No microphone support is good.. It was annoying.. Look at CS and TF.. Most servers just disable it.
