New UT 2003 D3D Driver Released!

Thanks to DigitalDJ for letting us know that the new Direct 3D Driver for UT2003 has been released.

The New Driver Fixes:
  • Workarounds for S3 Savage 4 cards
  • Fixes a bug in conjunction with z-pixel fog
  • Works around a driver bug with vertex range fog on ATI cards
  • Should fix the "brownout bug" in maps such as, CTF-Face3
Installation
  • Open up to UT2003/System and rename your current D3DDrv.dll to D3DDrv.bak
  • Download the update from the link below and place the D3DDrv.dll from the ZIP file into your UT2003/System directory.
Note: You will need patch 2136 installed prior to patching

This update includes supports to the Korean, Japanese, German, French and English languages in addition to the first release of the Audigy Driver Pack.

inferno is allot slower then the rest

Face3 & December run slow too. Inferno is the slowest one, though. It ain't a bug, either. The maps are just more detailed - that's all.

Nothing slow here, perhaps a new graphics card or some more RAM is what you guys need. You can only ask for so much optimization before you need new hardware. It's like playing Soldier of Fortune 2 on TNT or Vanta card, it just wont work.
