Sega has revealed the first 14 titles to be released in the Sega Ages line, produced in conjunction with Japanese publisher D3. The budget-priced line for the PS2 will kick off in summer of 2003 with these classic Sega titles.
There is no word on specific release dates for any of the titles, but it has been announced that each game will retail for 2500 yen, or roughly $18. Although not previously stated, it appears the games include graphical improvements. Sega has released two screens of the upcoming Phantasy Star release, and the improvement over the original 8-bit graphics is obvious.
Neither Sega nor D3 has commented on a release for the series outside of Japan.
