- I'm a beta tester and I think they need to delay it more. There are some major kinks that need to be worked out, and I dont believe that they will be able to fix them in a week.

- I'm disappointed with The Sims Online. First, I signed up to test it but then found out you had to be a U.S. citizen and use your credit for age verification. I don't think it'll fly too well.

- I live in the UK and i've had the beta test, in the drop down state box theres a England marking that you have to use if your in the UK. And you dont need a credit card for the full gamr, you buy special game time cards with 90 days of game time on, you can buy these on amazon.com/co.uk and any good retailer

- I've been a beta tester for this game for 2 months now and i have seen little change in the game, all the play testers are currently on the version going into manufactoring and it has MAJOR bugs, also there are dozens of options and features not included the in released version. Maxis plan to bug everyone with a patch soon with some of the new features coming online in the future. All Maxis are thnking about is the money they can get from christmas sales

The virtual suburban world of The Sims Online was supposed to be in stores in November, according to published reports. But the game's creator, Will Wright, said last week the release was pushed back to Dec. 18, as programmers tried to work out the kinks in the game's economic system. And, he added, the game might not ship until after yuletide.
Now he and representatives for the game's publishers, Electronic Arts are emphatic that The Sims Online will go out on the 17th.
"What I meant was that we are planning to ship on the 18th, barring major unforeseen 'acts of god' (like a major earthquake in SF or something like that)," Wright wrote in an e-mail on Monday.
As gamers wait to find out whether the game will, in fact, be ready for the holidays, they can choose from a parade of lesser-known shoot 'em-ups, strategy games and sword-and-sandal epics that are already in stores.
