Ownt.com has a sorta (even just for the sceenies) cool article about Id Software's upcoming FPS for the PC and Xbox due out in the autumn. The article is basically a regurgitation of an item that appeared in wired magazine recently but if you have any interest in this upcoming title and havent read it in wired then this is worth checking out.

Unreal 2 has bad story and simple, boring and unintelligent dialogues. I miss unreal 1 quality of music at least, I still listen to that ones and Deus Ex's sountracks. btw deus ex story is supreme, with interesting looks on politics and governments and solutions to it (!!).

Try Fileplanet or 3Dgamers, tho you'll probably find it just as easily on Kazaa or any other p2p prog.

Yawn............another FPS.........run around, kill a bunch of mutants, open secret doors, find your way through a maze.........If these games weren't so predictable, they would be more fun. But, after you go through a level several times, you know where the bad guys are going to be. I'd rather run a flight sim........at least the planes aren't in the same place all the time..........

The next revolution in gaming.

Too bad the minigun is just a bumpmapped box, so to speak. Its not even round, but edgy. I _really_ hope they change that from the unmentionable source I got it from. How about a benchmark that really use some polygonal power plus realtime soft selfshadows, some sort of "render this" to nvidia? Their tech demos is just one model and one lightsource... even the monkey from Ati isnt a real forest just so many leafs you cant see the environment mapping behind. A big forest to run around in, just like that donkey kong platform game on SNES.
