As expected, Activision sends along the playable demo for Star Trek Elite Force II, allowing you to try out this sci-fi first-person shooter that is nearing completion at Ritual Entertainment. This pre-release demo is unsupported, and includes the Attrexian Station and Attrexian Colony missions from the beginning of the full game.

Q: Do you have any idea which kind of software the loo will be running, I can see it now “Windows XP on the loo :)"?

A: The MSN iLoo will be connected to MSN.co.uk offering best of breed services including MSN Hotmail, MSN Search and MSN Messenger among other content channels through the MSN site. For example the MSN Music Channel to use the surround sound speaker experience!

Q: Do you have any other plans to install these loos more publicly across the UK?

A: At the moment the MSN iLoo is purely a promotional tool. We are offering the iLoo to any of the Summer season festivals on a first come first serve basis. If there is significant interest, we may look into manufacturing the iLoo on a regular basis.

Q: So now people can use broadband at telephones and now on the toilet, what do you see as the future of mobile internet usage in public locations from MSN?

A: So far the Internet Bench and Internet Loo have been promotions to highlight our vision of any time, any place on any device, watch this space for other ideas that demonstrate this.

Q: Finally, can we buy a loo? That would be great to replace my aging bathroom. Teeheehee

A: As above, at the moment, the iLoo is a promotional tool to demonstrate MSN’s aim to empower people to ‘log on’ from any device from any place.

Its impossible I had to just run out the first room and even then you just get more and more enemies until you just die, and get to start again

Man, what a bag of shit Chaser demo looked and ran fantastic even if its story/gameplay/characters were drab. Elite Force 1 IMO was better but as the makers have said, this demo does not represent the final game so lets hope they improve it. I was pushing around 40fps at 1152x864 everything high and using EAX 2.0 (automatically recognised for my sonci fury). The gra[phics looked like quake 3, very dated by todays standards :shakes head:

hmmm this is really strange it's almost unplayable on my machine maybe it's because I have an sis chipset? or perhaps there's some background that I'm running that is incompatable?

Is anyone here having problems, and also running an sis chipset or an ecs mainboard? Or even a hercules product?

Wooohoo, great news I fixed the problem The problem was that I had "Enable conformat OpenGL texture clamp behaviour" enabled, and this is what seems to cause the apparent slow down, and as soon as I unchecked it, the game was running really smooth Now I can finally enjoy the game

Dudes? you guys are having problems with the first part? the game runs slow? thats just wrong! I'm using WinXP on a P3 @ 770 Mhz for crying out loud! vid card is GF4 Ti4200 with 42.51 leaked WHQL drivers, and it runs smooth on loaded scenes with max detail. PS: oh, yeah, I'm using one SLOW VIA mobo! donations are accepted j/k
