The Unreal Tournament rages on in Unreal Tournament 2004! Once again being co-created by Epic Games and Digital Extremes, UT2004 will basically be a severely upgraded version of UT2003 with all sorts of new content, an improved engine, and two new gameplay modes: "Assault" and "Onslaught," which adds controllable land, space, and air-based vehicles.

I can imagine it now, people suicidingly ramming into the enemy to clear the way for their own team who are riding behind on their own fast vehicles.COOL!

I hope there is a mode of gameplay like, "Infiltrate the Base". UT2004 has lots of potential!

and Tribes sucks. OMG I curse the day I bought that game!

Tribes is beautiful and requires far more skill than ground-hugging FPS games like Quake/UT. It's also much faster than either game.

Tribes 2 sucks. Tribes one was awesome.

Do you think we could "upgrade" from 2K3 to 2K4 so I don't have to re-install all my custom maps?

How can we know?

Since Unreal Tourney and Unreal Tourney 2003 have binaries for Linux, we can only assume that yes. But hey the thing ain't out yet so how can we know...

Wow. A tank, a warthog and a hover bike. That's ingenious.

I wonder who came up with those vehicles... I've never seen them together in a game before.

I like how vehicles are now the cool thing to add to your game. Too bad Tribes has had them since day one.
Quote this comment #29.1 Posted by destrox on 07 Jul 2003 - 14:44
lol ,my very thoughts

also love how people try giving halo credit for vehicles when it was just a copy of Tribes w/out jet packs
